I love Fresh Starts. It feels good to set new goals and even better when you achieve them. I've let the last couple years get to me. Let's be honest...I'm a gloom and doomer, a news junkie, a fear monger, I've let fear motivate me. I've cried too much about not being able to get pregnant, I've fought too much with my husband. I need a break. I want hope. I want peace, and I want happiness. That stuff has to start with me.

Just writing those things down, makes me feel better. Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to let my mad skills of adding to my food storage stop, Glen Beck is still my BFF and my AWESOME phone calls to my mom about "the end of the world" predictions are not going to stop!! No Way! I'm just going to put more energy into things that make me feel lighter and happier.

Here's to a happier, thinner, wonderful new year! I too have jumped onto the green smoothie wagon. Delicious. My favorite is:
1 mango
2 bananas
1 cup frozen strawberries
4 cups kale or spinach
1.5 cups ice cold water
Acupuncture, huh??
Oh, and... I have to be perfectly honest. I love Glenn Beck. I own his latest book in fact, and my sister stood in line for 3 hours to get it signed for me. I have all the respect in the world for him.... and I can no longer listen to him or watch him. Seriously. When I was deeply into him, I was so depressed, so wanting to build a bunker in my back yard, seeing evil and devastation at every turn, I was DEPRESSED after every episode of his that I watched on Fox. Justin made me go cold turkey and I haven't been so angry and depressed since... just a thought. It apparently isn't the time or season for me to be able to handle what Glenn offers without going overboard and around the bend. I feel everything so so so... deeply.
here's to a great year friend. you can do it. as i tell Kade all the time, you are in charge of your own happiness.
i love ya.
let's hang out more. that should help...
Andra,Love the blog post and your new out look on life.you know i am a big fan of Glenn and will never stop watching him,no matter how bad it sounds like it might get,he is my BFF also ha ha.but i always remember the Lord has said if you are prepared you have nothing to fear.i look forward to our end of the world phone calls but we will keep them on a lighter note this year.Love Mom
gosh I love you.
Trusting God is the only way I make it through...but trusting is never easy. Oh how I wish it were, because once I get to that point, life is so much easier. The problem is staying at that point.
You and Kev should have some end of the world talks. Did you know he's obsessed?
Yummy!
