Whitney Taylor gives us a scare!
If things have been quiet around the Stoker house, it hasn't been on purpose! About a week ago, Whitney was wheezing so badly we decided to take her to a Respiratory Therapist. Upon first sighting, the therapist told us to go to the hospital right away. Once there, they gave her some tests and suctioned her lungs and throat. They told us that her breathing was on the borderline of her being admitted to Primary Children's Hospital. Since we were obviously freaked out about her be admitted, the Doctor told us we could take her home but must go to the ER if she got worse. Luckily, my mother came over that night at 2:30AM because we were so scared. She sounded TERRIBLE! At this point, Andra and I had not slept but a few hours in several days! The following day we had our home teacher (Kevin Coles) come over along with his son Javier. Brother Coles anointed and we sealed the blessing on Whitney. The Doctor said that Whitney was better but to watch her carefully through the night. It was also during this visit that they told us that Whitney had RSV. That night Whitney was no longer wheezing but had a nasty cough. THANK GOODNESS for the Priesthood of God and being able to give her a blessing. She is doing much better and the Doctor checked her out and said she was getting better! She has made much improvement as of today and we attribute that to the many prayers and blessings of our family and members of our ward. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
